George Bracegirdle

George spent a lot of time seeing practice with Wright and Morten, both at school and as a vet student. He graduated from Bristol university in 2018 and spent the first 18 months of his career working in a traditional mixed practice on the welsh border. He then decided to return home to his Cheshire roots and joined us in February 2020.

In work, George has achieved a postgraduate qualification in exotic pet medicine and surgery and is passionate about providing a high level of care to our more unusual patients. He also enjoys dermatology, canine reproduction and soft tissue surgery.

George lives in Macclesfield with his wife and baby boy who was born in 2024. He has a Border Terrier called Hilda, three chickens called Monica, Rachel and Phoebe and a tropical aquarium. He enjoys gardening, cooking, running, singing and spending time in the countryside.
