What to do if you need a vet out of hours
Our main veterinary hospital in Macclesfield provides 24hour care call 01625 501500 and you will be put through to the correct team. Please note after 7:00pm care is provided by the out of hours team at Vets Now.
We provide a 24 hour rapid response service with our dedicated farm vets, please call 01477 571000. An operator will take your contact details and pass them to the duty vet, who will then telephone you to arrange a visit.
In an emergency, please contact the office number on 01260 280800, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Be prepared to give basic details – account holder, contact details, address of horse, and brief summary of what is happening with your horse. We will then arrange for a vet to come out to you ASAP, and confirm an ETA. The assigned vet will be available on the telephone for you until they get to you.
There is an additional charge for Out of Hours visits, and appointments made on the day.
