Katie is our Small Animal Head Nurse. She joined the practice in 2007 and began her nurse training in January 2008. She is a fully qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse who works mainly at the Hospital in Macclesfield but also at our Wilmslow branch assisting with operations. Katie completed the Certificate of Veterinary Nursing and Critical Care (Cert VN ECC) in March 2013. She gained valuable knowledge on the course which she has been able to share with the rest of the team, ensuring that our critically ill patients receive an enhanced level of nursing care. Katie is responsible for maintaining nursing clinical standards in our hospital. She has a particular interest in the care of hospitalised patients, working with the rest of the team to ensure they receive the highest standards of care possible. Outside of work she has a horse Tronnie who she used to event but is now semi-retired.
