Helen qualified from Edinburgh in 1999 and spent a year working in mixed practice in North Wales before deciding that small animals were not for her. She then moved to Wright & Morten, where she has remained ever since. Helen completed her Diploma in Bovine Reproduction in 2006 and went on to develop the practice’s bull fertility service. She is an advanced practitioner whose main interests are dairy fertility and herd health, and she enjoys the variety of working with both block calving and high yielding herds. Helen is also a member of the IVC Farm Animal Advisory Board.
Outside of work, Helen is kept busy with her two young children, and with running a Welsh Cob stud and Yak farming!
